Branding

A brand essentially is “name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers. Hence branding is not about getting your target market to choose you over the competition, but it is about getting your prospects to see you as the only one that provides a solution to their problem.

The objectives that a good brand will achieve include:

To succeed in branding, Acosca understands the needs and wants of our customers and prospects. This is done by integrating your brand strategies through our company at every point of public contact.

Your brand resides within the hearts and minds of customers, clients, and prospects. It is the sum total of their experiences and perceptions, some of which you can influence, and some that you cannot.

A strong brand is invaluable as the battle for customers intensifies day by day. Hence Acosca team spends time investing in researching, defining, and building your brand. Branding is a foundational piece in our marketing communication and we excel at it.

Some of the key services which accompany branding are listed below.

Embossing

Embossing is a process where a series of stamps are pressed against material to create a pattern. Embossers use brass, magnesium or copper metal dies, which are applied against the material under great pressure. Letters, names, numbers, decorations and patterns can be used to personalize the material with a name, company logo, or other unique design.

Acosca understands that embossing is a great way for businesses, corporations, and organisations to create a unique and professional look for their stationary and promotional materials. Embossed stationary is far superior to standard letterhead. Promotional materials stand out if they are embossed, giving them a three dimensional quality. Embossing imparts professionalism and the tradition of excellence that your company values above your competitors.

Acosca also does embossing for personalising items for retirement gifts, promotions and incentives which offer the opportunity to provide a unique quality item that shows employees they are a valued member of the organization.

Our team suggests the best material to suit your needs, depending on the desired end result and the best type of embossing that would create the best effect.

Embroidery

It essentially is embellished stitching on fabric which are usually non-lettered designs but can also be lettered and/or monogrammed designs.

The major advantage of embroidery is there is no colour limitation on embroidery. You can embroider any colour you like on the promotional product.

Embroidery has relatively quick turnaround time as well. Unlike traditional printing which needs to allow extra time for the ink to dry, we don't need to allow extra time for embroidery. As soon as the embroidery is done on the promotional item, we can then pack it straight away and deliver to the client.

There is no additional setup cost needed to be added on top of the total cost. Pad printing and screen printing will always associate with a setup cost which is the cost of setting up a printing plate to print the logo. For embroidery, there is no printing plate needed to be setup, we can then waive goodby to the set up cost. Only designing cost would be additional.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a method used to transfer ink onto a part. The advantage to using screen printing technology is that printing can be done 360 degrees around a cylindrical shape in one application. This includes items as small as a lipstick container and as large as a 5 gallon pail, also flat surfaces as small as a match box or as large as a billboard sign. Printing can also be done on oval surfaces as small as a bottle of nail polish or as large as a shampoo bottle.

Basically it is a wet process where ink is squeezed through a fine mesh material onto the part to be decorated.

At Acosca, we do several types of screen printing, as listed below

Offset Printing

Offset printing is a printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. Offset printing provides a consistent high quality image that is sharp and clean, making it ideal for a variety of larger-run printing applications.

It is an excellent choice when the design is detailed and complex. Promotional items like lapel pins can be made using this method.

Advantages of offset printing compared to other printing methods include:

Digital printing

Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of media. It allows for on-demand printing, short turnaround time, and even a modification of the image (variable data) used for each impression.

The greatest difference between digital printing and traditional methods such as lithography, flexography, gravure, or letterpress is that there is no need to replace printing plates in digital printing, whereas in analog printing the plates are repeatedly replaced. This results in quicker turnaround time and lower cost when using digital printing, but typically a loss of some fine-image detail by most commercial digital printing processes. The most popular methods include inkjet or laser printers that deposit pigment or toner onto a wide variety of substrates including paper, photo paper, canvas, glass, metal, marble, and other substances.

We are specialists in our field producing high quality digital print for corporate literature, posters, direct mail, brochures, stationery, catalogues, point of sale, instruction manuals, packaging, publicity materials, periodicals and magazines.

Packaging

At Acosca, we know that packaging always either has a negative or positive influence on the purchaser. A negative impression can detour a potential customer, just as a positive reaction can influence a customer to buy.

It can greatly be influential if you are launching a ‘new’ brand. Also if it is an established brand, it becomes important that packaging is done upto the mark as per specifications.

At Acosca, we package your brand so that it is an integral part of your business and represents a strong identity, keeping in mind that packaging is not only a box that contains a product, but is a vehicle that reflects your company's brand and image.

As you can see all these things speak volumes about your image and they either strengthen or weaken your brand. Your image is all in the packaging. Would potential clients take a second look or is your message getting lost? If you thought these things were not worth the investment or didn't matter, you were wrong. Clients and customers will make assessments of your company based on these things and while not always conscious, that customer appraisal says much about your business, your attitude and your priorities.

Shrink Packaging

The shrink wrap process involves placing the product inside a heat-sensitive poly-bag or wrapping the product with a heat-sensitive film. A conveyor system then moves the product through a heat tunnel to shrink the film or bag to conform to the product. This creates a tamper-evident protective covering ideal for technology, electronics, games and paper products.

This is an ideal packaging solution for variety packs & value packs. Shrink Packs can be configured in a large range of sizes and shapes, from booklets to boxes.

Co-packing

Co-packing offers a "SPEED TO MARKET" solution, which is an elaborate system, designed to deliver a product to market in a quick and high-quality fashion.

To market and distribute, a co-packing works under contract with the hiring company to manufacture goods as though the products were manufactured directly by the hiring company.

Co-packing is used when the producing company doesn't have the packing capacity, machinery, knowledge etc.

Coupon Inserts

Coupon inserts offer an unbeatable moment to build relationships with existing customers. A coupon inserted into your product's package is delivered directly to your customer. The customer sees it at the moment they are using the product. There is no better time to communicate! Coupon inserts result in additional purchases and building brand awareness Coupons influence consumer purchasing decisions. A coupon in hand can defeat many obstacles typically faced by marketers.

Coupon marketing is one of the only measurable forms of marketing. Most advertising and marketing is impossible to accurately measure. But coupons can be easily tracked by redemption rate and redemption location, giving you valuable insight into your consumer and justifying your marketing budget. Advanced coupons can even gather consumer data.

Coupons literally get you "in". Advertised promotions are quickly forgotten, but a coupon is carried by consumers in a purse or wallet to their store, with your name and photo all over it. They actually volunteer to carry your ad with them to the store! Doing so greatly reduces the risk of them forgetting your name and/or buying a competitor's product.

Coupons offer a one-to-one personal moment. Unlike print ads, radio, TV, and most other forms of advertising, coupons offer a private, distraction-free communication moment. A coupon in a consumer's hand offers an opportunity to establish your brand, share detailed information.

Coupons reach a large number of people from all kind of income groups including affluent consumers.

Understanding these coupon marketing strengths, at Acosca we use this technique largely for promotions.

Surround Sleeves

Surround sleeves make promotions eye-catching, easier to manage and more effective. They distinguish your brand and gain a real merchandising edge.

Now completely conformable to the unique shape of the package, surround sleeves provide total 360? coverage in full colour.

They are tamper-proof and can eliminate labels, additional cartons and seals, allowing for bundling of samples or complementary products under a single banner. Surround sleeves help to manage time sensitive inventory with ease – and include instructions, bar codes, DIN & UPC, even tamper seals – all in one.
